Special Private Event: The Museum of the Human Web Launch Party

The Retro Roadshow is delighted to be exhibiting three of our most remarkable artifacts at the invite-only launch party for The Museum of the Human Web, a time-limited exhibition of the history of the pre-AI World Wide Web. Our exhibition will feature:

  • Our IBM Personal Computer Model 5150, the landmark desktop computer that launched the “IBM Compatible” / “x86” lineage that continues today

  • Our Macintosh SE/30, a beloved “all in one” Mac that features a staggering number of upgrades and enhancements. Our Mac SE/30 will be running “The Electronic Whole Earth Catalog,” an important piece of software frequently cited as a direct precursor to the World Wide Web

  • Our NeXT Computer, the iconic black cube that served as the development platform for the world’s first web browser, web server, and the HTML programming language
